My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The rooms were clean though they smelled like stale smoke, and the carpets could use some updating. Despite that, the rooms were comfortable and relatively quiet during the night. The service was friendly, attempting to accommodate my requests. The location was convenient, just outside Epping next to the forest, although the breakfast could have been better. The dining experience was satisfactory but a bit overpriced. The facilities were adequate but could use some maintenance in the rooms.
